Leaving voice mails on my phone that reference paul in anyway pisses me off. I don't know why anybody does it. I didn't record my voicemail message because I wanted my friends to think "L O L! Starbucks 2: Electric Boogaloo
Had my first day of work today. Also, the store got a new manager, and it was his first day at this store too. It was fun. I had to do some reading (I got a freakin' textbook), and then I chatted with the manager and assistant manager for a while. It's been a little while, so I guess I'll update, and tell y'all what's up with me. First, I got a job at Starbucks. I start Monday (the 24th) with training. It'll be fun, I think, and it will keep up the trend (well, not much of a trend with only 2 people I know of following it) of people leaving Earlham and working at Starbucks. Or something like that... So, I got a job at Starbucks, which is pretty sweet. Full benefits (read: insurance) for 20+ hours per week, free pound of coffee every week, all the free drinks I want while I'm on the job, and 30% off everything in the store, including any equipment. Subject aside, no drinking was done by me. Apparently, Andy and Colin got fucked to hell last night (friday night), which is to be expected, I suppose. Saw the therapist yesterday, that was fun, didn't get too deep into anything, but she seems good enough. She's conservative about medication, which makes me happy ( Read more... ) -
