Baby shower is over, work is all done. Still getting the house ready, but it's getting there. We even finally picked a middle name (Michelle) and preregistered at the hospital. We went to Med Faire today. Ate some very over-priced food, got moderately lobsterized, and got to see people i haven't seen in awhile. I saw cloverdryad, happynoodlehead, Stovetop00, and millipuppy, amongst others. It was great to see millipuppy even if i was a little stern to her. Whew! All moved in! Err.. mostly. Today we are going to the old apartment to get a few last remaining items that i would not let come to the new place because they were "too dirty". Yippee! My Shane got his taxes back! We didn't think he would, but then there they were. I'd helped him find an extra $200 or so and also helped him to e-file, and now we can get the baby essentials and also a bed for us! That alone is great, as we sleep on a futon. The search is over! We've been looking for a new place to live (my kingdom for a door to the bedroom!) that didn't raise our monthly housing costs but at the same time didn't lose many amenities.
