Duh, read the title - rabbit's foot. I think. You can sort of see the black nail on the lower left and that's the leg bone sticking out of it. That straw-looking stuff is dried tendons and such.

The kids already buried it in our animal graveyard. My son said, "We have to honor the animal even if the whole body's not here." I make keychain jokes on-line while my almost 7 year old comes up with these enlightened nuggets. I got teary when his back was to me, burying the foot.
