aww babe i'm sorry, as cliche as this sounds things will get better don't call him, or text, email or whatever. He's being a dick to you & you made an attempt to talk but he rejected it so now just be an asshole back, as hard as it is. If he plays around with your emotions then do it back to him. When he comes back if you still feel like you like him and vice versa then maybe you should talk in person. good luck!!
