We have been at my brother's in NJ since Feb. 4th. Although mostly enjoyable, some days have been pretty hard. Too many associations, too many memories, a la Julia would have liked ....., Julia did or had this or that

Sorry to hear the vacation was not exactly what you had hoped it would be. I've never been to a big city, so I have no idea what the appeal would be. Seems like it would be crowded, and hard to get around in, and easy to get lost in.
