Chapter 3 :
Only one week after their agreement, but Chinen realizes that Yamada really serious. He joined the popular club in school, soccer and senate (he admit being president of senate he has power to reject him, but he wants Yamada under his control so he could watch all of his plans). He never hides his motive at all, to win Chinen’s heart and being his boyfriend. First time his friend asked him about their deal Chinen must control his emotion to not shout and punched his friend.
And what makes him angrier is that most of students support him. There is more of 10 students who came and said that they’re sorry because they will choose Yamada if he join the election. How this plans become boomerang for him?
Now Chinen sits in the school bench, watching soccer club exercise. And that’s Yamada, his enemy, laugh and run in his soccer uniform. Only one week, but he had managed to join the school's first team and became one of their main forward. How could this happen?
"Seeing your lover?" Someone talk to him. Chinen frowns and turning his head. It turns out that the voice comes from soccer captain, Yabu.
"What the ..."
"Rumors of your relationship already spread throughout the entire school. There are many versions, but the biggest one is that you're mad because he broke his promise to you for not come sooner than now." Yabu smiled.
Chinen's cheeks flush. "Who ..."
"Well, I think he's a good man, Yuri. He's a hard worker, disciplined, humorous and really talented. And handsome too, according to all his fanclub members." He’s laugh, pointing to a group of girl who stand on the sidelines shouting at Yamada.
Chinen’s jaw drops in shock. Fanclub? Yamada? How? Why? What?
"Don’t be so surprise. He's got all the aspects to become an idol."
Had enough of all this nonsense about Yamada, Chinen doesn’t want to hear it again.
"Well, then I better go first, still have something to do in senate room." Chinen starts to leave.
"All right then. Just one advice from me, don’t make him suffer too long." Yabu wink at him.
"Yamada? Suffer? Is more like I am the victim between two of us." Chinen muttered.

It's already half an hour Chinen in the senate room when someone entered it. Chinen looking up, and frown when he realized that the enemy who come, Yamada.
"What do you want?" He said, curtly.
"Well, as one of the senate member, I just want to do my task which by the way, thanks to you, difficult and loads." Yamada raise his eyebrows, questioning him.
"Then you better finish it quickly, and don’t dare to bother me.” Chinen hurried past him and went into his own room.
The next half hour going quietly when suddenly someone came in, slamming the door.
"I know you did it on purpose Yuri!" Mika shouted, holding up a piece of paper in front of him.
Chinen raised his head from the book he reads and looking at her. "What do you mean?" He asks, innocently.
"Don’t play dumb with me! You sign my paper with your name. Because of you I got punished by my teacher to clean the toilet all day. You're so mean. I'm going to tell my mom that she needs to increase your punishment. I won’t let this slide and you just wait what we’ll do to you!”
Chinen already got punishment this week because he makes Mika upset the other day. He doesn’t get any allowance from his step mother for entire week. Addition sentences mean a lot of extra maid duties for him when he back home. Chinen familiar with this situation and he think this is equal with the shame Mika get from her teacher.
"I'm sorry if you don’t make your homework by yourself." Chinen replies, sarcastically. Mika’s cheek going red heard it.
"And next time, please make sure you check ‘my work’ before giving it to the teacher. Not my fault if I forget your sign and put mine instead." He smirked.
"You!" Mika explode. She took a trophy from the cupboard next to her and almost threw it to Chinen when someone stopped it by holding her hand.
Mika turn around to see who stop her and get dumbstruck by an angel. Yamada stand behind her and give her his ‘signature smile’.
"A pretty girl suddenly entered and wasted her beautiful voice by shouting." He takes the trophy from her hand and put it back to the cupboard.
"You know, anger isn’t good for beauty, make eyebrows furrowed and you will get wringkles." Yamada moves his finger in front of her in a ‘no-no’ sign. Blinked, Mika still froze in her place, bewitched by him.
"Who are……?"
"I'm Yamada Ryosuke, at your services, your highness." He smile and extended his hand.
Mika gives her hand and he kissed it. "Well, I just, *ehem…. my name is Mika, and I am Yuri’s step sister."
"I can’t believe that Yuri could have sister as beautiful as you."
Mika's cheeks blushing hear it. She turns to Chinen. "Then I'll see you at home, sister." Her voice implying that these are still unfinished and Chinen will get the revenge from her later.
Chinen shrug it off, doesn’t care, when Mika rush out.
"It’s amusing to see your devil side right now.” Yamada mocking.
"None of your business. And she brings this one herself by handing my work without re-check it." Chinen stuck out his tongue. "And what’s about you? How about the tasks I gave to you?"
"Lucky you having genius boyfriend like me. My tasks is all done, and I coming here to give it to you. Just in time to be honest, if not, that trophy will already flying and blow you right away."
"I don’t need your help and you're not my boyfriend. A trophy won’t ... "
"I know.” He cut him. “You're not going to be taekwondo captain if you can’t defend yourself. But why wasted something for useless person like her?" Yamada raised his eyebrows. "And I'll be your boyfriend, you just still in denial." He smirked.
"I'm tired of hearing your bullshit all the time. You won’t beat me in the poll, so you'd better wake up from your dream, and stay in real life." Chinen picked his bag and walking through Yamada to the door when suddenly his head felt dizzy and he fall right in front of him.
Yamada immediately hug him. "What's the matter with you?" His voice comes out harsh as he really worried about him.
Chinen realize today he hasn’t eaten anything. Usually, though he won’t get money from his step mother, his fans always give him something to eat as proof of their love. But since Yamada’s announcement about their love story, his fans diminish, and this has been 2 days nobody gave him bento or chocolate to eat.
"This is all your fault," Chinen muttered.
Yamada winced. He carried Chinen and laid him on the couch in the room. "You stay here, I'll take the medicine."
"No need." Chinen tries to sit up but the dizziness hit him so he lay down again.
"You're sick, and I won’t let you stop me from giving you some medicine." Yamada get up to leaves when Chinen holding his hand.
"I'm not sick," he muttered, "Just .... hungry." His voice fades. Yamada sit back down beside him. His last word is unclear.
"What? Hungry?" He asked.
"Yeah, today I have not eaten anything." Chinen feels ashame to admit it, but it would be disaster if everyone worried about his health, and it turns out it was all just because he was hungry.
Yamada's expression doesn’t change. "Then wait here a minute, I'll get you something." Yamada left the room.
A few moments later he returns with a plastic bag in his hand. Yamada sit back down beside him and pulling out the content. Chinen got up slowly and stare at him. Yamada gives him an apple and a water bottle that already open.
Chinen immediately drinks the water and eat. They were silent, only the sound of Chinen’s munch the apple. When Chinen finished, Yamada gives him bread. Chinen doesn’t say anything, just come back to eat the bread.
"Say something." Chinen can’t stand the silence in the air.
"Finish your bread first."
Chinen spent his food and drink before turn to Yamada. He raised his eyebrows, asking him.
"I'm not going to interfere your family problem, because as you say, I’m not your boyfriend yet. But starting tomorrow you're going to have lunch with me and you can’t dissagree."
"Whatever you say, I won’t do it anyway."
"Then tomorrow everyone in the school will know that their senate president isn’t competent enough to get faint from hunger at the office and eventually they will know about your family."
"Are you threatening me?" Some of student knows that he isn’t very close to Mika, but he won’t let anybody dig it deeper or his secret will be revealed.
"If that's what it takes to make you agree." Yamada looked at him, waiting.
"Okay, but don’t let anyone know, and we'll have lunch here, your treat."
"Deal." Yamada smirked. "And handshake agreement for the closing." He held out his hand.
Chinen takes his hand when suddenly Yamada pull him in and then he felt Yamada lips on his cheek. Yamada not only kiss his cheek but also lick it with his tongue.
"You!" Yuri pulled him away.
"There's bread slices on your cheek." Yamada reply innocently. He stands up and leaving the room and say. "See you tomorrow, princess."
