So I have my car, but it's not technically mine until I get the loan check and pay for it...right now my old car is my deposit on this car. I also have to wait for my replacement license from the dmv with my current address...I have the receipt for the address change...maybe that will be sufficient?

You might want to take some official mail with your new address on it (like a bill).

Problem with that is that I don't have anything like that...my permanent address is my mom's address cause i live at school but she moved recently. If I absolutely have to the DMV said I can get a copy if I go into the actual DMV and the fact that i already ordered a duplicate wont be a problem.

although it makes me wonder since if you can make duplicates of your license so easily how they expect to curb fake id's...It seems that there's no limit on how many copies you can get.
