as i'm a teacher, it's probably not a good idea to have my whole life on display...

yeah... someone in a teaching community i belonged to was discussing LJ and myspace and after thinking about it i decided that friends-only is probably a really good idea.

Smart. I've been debating the same for similar reasons. If you google my company name and lj you find my site. I'm not sure if that's such a good thing...

However, my mom reads this and she wouldn't be able to if it was friends only. Perhaps I should just make her an account to log in.

i would think about getting my mum an account. i don't know, i'm pretty paranoid about most things! i freaked out when my laptop was stolen thinking someone would be looking at all my photos and livejournal and stuff.
