I am in a totally same position as you but i've been holding back on selling. I'm not sure how the market really is, but i feel that the exchange rates are so bad and it seems that I have to still charge people lower? I'm to sure but i think DoA has like a thread on the new price range value of dolls at the moment?
I jest, but yeah, i've got no idea on the market- all mine are packed away in boxes at the moment :( I've thought about selling one or two, but I don't know- I am probably going to wait till I have my own place and my own life, basically, and then decide if they're something I want to keep or not.
Definitely post on your blog if/when you decide who to sell though, and what prices you decide on- I *might* be tempted :p
I have no idea what the market is like, but I've been looking at getting one for a long time. If you can bring yourself to sell (I know it's difficult, many of my friends collect), I'd possibly be interested.
I've been looking at the market briefly today, it SEEMS to be comparable to what it was like two/three years ago so its actually not as bad as I was expecting. I'll just have to see how much certain boutique faceups etc that I have effect some of my dolls...
You do not have a problem! They all are so beautiful and seem so unique that looking of them; of course there are some that jump out at me! But if you aren't ready to sell, they are your babies. (:
If I had to say, Hortence is adorable and beautiful, but they are all so lovely~
For me the doll market has been s l o w ! And the Aussie dollar is so high you probably won't be getting back what you paid in the first place. I've always loved your kun girl, she was the first kun I fell in love with!
*nods* I wasn't really expecting to make my money back though, so that's not necessarily a bad thing. ^_^
A lot of my dolls I managed to get at 'bargain' prices, heads especially on amazing deals that made my jaw drop on y!j for example. So if I sold them at current market prices I'd probably be pretty close to breaking even anyway.
I'm just like, I know I SHOULD sell at least half of them, but I can't bring myself to do it. Too many best laid plans and so much planning to make them what I wanted them to be, or wanting one for years and FINALLY getting them...
LOL! I don't think that's really a consideration. A good home is a good home! The issue is really can I let them go, even though I'm not doing a THING with them!? xD

Right now I still feel like I'm going to vomit at the thought of ACTUALLY selling...

But well, you don't really know me, and I haven't ever had any BJDs, so I guess you wouldn't let me buy her :p
