[Well, isn't that a happy coincidence, because Zhaneel is already up and moving. She pads down the path toward the temple, choosing to walk the short distance rather than fly.]

[Zhaneel's ears flick in the direction of the approaching figure and if she could give a gentle smile then you'd have it, Warrior. She rustles her wings lightly and fluffs her facial feathers.]

Heyla, Warrior .. I have been well, yes. Although I have not been deliberately looking for anything that might impact this negatively, if I am to be honest.

[She tilts her head slightly.]

Only a fool would invite bad memories with the wound still fresh. And I know that you are not a fool.

[Zhaneel may notice dark circles around his eyes.]

...I have been better. But I will recover.

[Nightmares of being stone + seeing his goddess torched + seeing his friends vanish + getting taunted by his foes = not a good night's sleep.]

I appreciate the faith you put in me .. However foolish it would be to quickly endanger myself, I would do it without hesitation if I was so needed; particularly for a friend in need.

[Pointed look is pointed. She sees those dark circles, Warrior, and is certainly concerned for you. She nods her beak once.]
