[Zhaneel has been keeping rather quietly to herself since her evening away with Lucas, choosing to focus a good portion of her time on scouting the area for any further sign of monsters that might threaten those of Vertiline

[Another unfamiliar voice pipes in and the minute facial feathers just around her beak fluff up in interest and a subtle mixture of nervousness and excitement. She didn't know many her at Vertiline and it seemed the idea of hunting was drawing quite a bit of interest.]

Well, there is no day like today to put a change to this, yes?

[There is a beat of silence and Zhaneel grinds her beak lightly.]

You are .. not adverse to non-human hunting partners?

[Better to find out before wandering off into the woods with him, yes?]

[A soft chortle as Zhaneel feels herself relaxing a bit more.]

Whatever you are most comfortable with, then. And .. it is good to hear that there are those of that mindset.

Do you know where the temple is? We could meet there and decide on our prey ..?

[Zhaneel's inner lids flick across her eyes in surprise, but when she responds her voice is soft and reassuring.]

I do not toy with my prey. I understand and appreciate the need to hunt and eat, but I kill swiftly and with as little pain as possible.

[There is warmth and a smile in her voice as she responds, moving to lay across the sun-warmed entrance of the temple.]
