Yeah, I've been pretty impressed with him too, actually. Still, some of the news coverage is overkill. Popewatch!

You know it's funny. I am not longer a practicing Catholic. But I think that he was an excellent choice for a pope. He is like.. well *really* a Catholic. Personally I feel like if you no longer agree with this or that about the Church.. leave.. like we did. Don't try to change what the Church is.. just move away from it. This pope.. I think he'll re-infuse the church with a spirit that may bring back a lot of the excellence that was lost during Vatican II.

Damn.. now maybe I'll have to make my own post about the Church and this current Pope. :P

Beyond that, until he begins offering up records and facts, and offering up bishops and other higher-ups for prosecution over pedophile priest reshuffling, I will save any praise.
