The things you haven't been missing.

I've begun to feel fearful of feeling well. Like, I finally kicked my three week cold Saturday, only to come down with a fever and the runs Sunday night. I'm feeling well again and all I can do is wonder "how long will this one last?" Which sucks ( Read more... )

My husband fights me tooth and nail everytime he has to go to the dentist. I have to actively remind him every morning to brush his teeth >_<

Jim brushes his teeth before going to work. And then at night we brush our teeth together. But I have a feeling he didn't do it much before he met me, and he doesn't do it on days he doesn't work. I brush my teeth at least twice a day, and three times if I eat pickles or garlic or something. It just makes my mouth feel funny in an hour or so after I eat. And pickles are my favorite food, so that kinda happens... a lot. lol.

But the fear of dentist thing I totally don't understand. I love coming home and having my teeth feel all super clean. But I've only ever had one cavity in my entire life. I guess if they do lots of drilling or whatever, I might not like them...

Ahh dentist haha I have really bad enamel from medication I took as a toddler so I get cavities like crazy, I have to crowns the first one came from a dental loan via captial one credit and the second I paid for from my job at burbank graphics, so lame, could have had a pretty doll but nooo a fake tooth LOL

I hope you find that other free clinic google helps too at last I know TX has a fair amount of free stuff I know you're not on medicaid but they have a great system for that I used to know someone who had 2 preemies there and she said the services both free and medicaid were awesome.

and yay for sack_girl as well :)

I have had great three. I brush my teeth at least twice a day, and have only ever had once (small) cavity in my life, and it was when I was, like, 7. But everyone around me seems to have bad teeth. My dad, my best friend, Jim... and it's very difficult to wrap them up in twine and drag them off to the dentist. ::sigh::

I called about 25 different places today before I found what I needed. And now I have to wait till next Tuesday for the next step that still won't let me see a doctor or get meds. It's a long slow process, but people have said good things about this, so I have my fingers crossed.

I'm long overdue for a dentist's app as well. @__@ I've been needing to get my wisdom teeth out AND braces put in for the past three years, but I can't afford it, so I'm just keeping the cute little front teeth sticking out a tiny bit. XD

And that sounds like an awesome way to spend Super Bowl Sunday! I don't like football OR the usual tailgate parties, so I'm always home watching movies that day. I watched the Puppy Bowl this year anyway. :P

Hahah, Transformers! <33 The guy Il ike INSTANTLY texted me frekaing out in joyness the second it came on. XD

Nononono, you can't think like that! I'm sure Jim's cavities are nothing but cavities and thus nothing serious. You could worry if his teeth started to break (mine did when I ate a donut. A donut!!!). And even then, he probably wouldn't need a metal screw in his mouth like I did -_-;;

You know, I've never seen Love Actually. I should get around to that; I love Hugh Grant!!

My brother used to have a raging fear of the dentist, too, since he used to have such bad brushing habits. But once he developed better brushing habits, he doesn't mind going anymore. I should also mention that his fear probably had to do with the fact that we had this AWFUL pediatric dentist until we were each seventeen. I mean, he was a good dentist, but seriously, if you're a PEDIATRIC dentist don't you think you'd be a little more FRIENDLY to CHILDREN?! Although, he did have the BEST hygienists....but I digress.

Just tell him that if he doesn't take care of his teeth, then he'll lose them all and have to get dentures and then he'll be like my grandparents, who spend ever other week complaining that they can't eat because their teeth feel weird.

I haven't seen the new Transformers ad, either. Come to think of it, I haven't even seen Transformers! God, I'm behind on my movie viewing!!

Love Actually is my favorite chick flick ever. It's the only one I will watch more than once. It's sooooooooo good. And Hugh Grant ROCKS it. ::dances::

I had great dental care. It was through my school and stuff. But apparently Jim has horrid care in the Philippines (third world country, wut?) and that's why.

I still have yet to watch those commercials, but Transformers is awesome!!

I need to watch this movie!! Thank goodness the library loans out DVDs, it's the best way to catch up on all those movies I was too young to see when they came out :D

Well, all it takes is one horrid experience to put you off of something, you know? I reacted horribly to anesthesia once, and now I'm TERRIFIED of getting it again. Also, the last time I got stitches went VERY BADLY. It wasn't pretty. I hope I never have to get them again!

You were probably not too young to see this when it came out... I'm only 22 and was old enough to see it. I think. I'm pretty sure I was? Hrm...
