I haven't actually read this yet because I am still working my way through season 5 and don't want to spoil myself, but I'm leaving you a comment to let you know I've mem'd this for later as it sounds really good and like something I'd like to read :)
Thanks for leaving a little note! The fic is safe to read after "After Hours" (which is only referred to in passing, but that's the last canonical detail I've mentioned). For the most part, the only stuff that's (heavily) spoiled is stuff from "After the Storm" and prior. Have fun Castle-thonning!
I'll have to look up what number episodes those are in the seaon(s), I'm so bad at noting down the actual episode names! The last one I watched was the Christmas themed one from s5. Poor Santa.
Which season is "After the Storm"? That's the only problem with marathonning- you forget a lot :|
If you're going in order in s5, the Christmas episode is the last one before my fic starts (mid-January). "After the Storm" is the s5 premiere. Several chapters down the road there's a small reference to an action revealed in "Recoil" (5.13), but it's not really a spoiler (and I may end up deleting it).
This is probably more detail than you care about, but I guess the bottom line is if you've gone through 5.9, you're fine.
