I'm really sorry about Peanut. It's always hard to lose a member of the family. Fry is still alive and well too with HH.

They said we weren't going to get any accumulation last night, and this morning we had a dusting. People around DC go nuts over snow. It's like they completely forget their driving skills. It took me over an hour to get to work this morning! Ugh.

thanks annie. the fact it came out of nowhere really sucks. i figure it happened the best way possible-no suffering and in her sleep.

here too! it's bizarre cos snow isn't anything new around here but everyone turns into an ass.

What helped me get through Lily's death was we had a little burial ceremony for her on the mountain. Rob and I each said something we loved and will miss about her, and then we played Here Comes The Sun by the Beatles, and buried her and put a flower and rock over the spot.

Unfortunately, I haven't been up to Gambrill Mountain since. Beautiful place though.

if we didn't live near my parents [ALL my pets get buried in their garden] i'd do something like that.

I'm sorry to hear about Peanut...and so late, too (been kinda under the wire what with my new job and my move to Arkansas). Fry is doing good...I just gave him a treat, actually. Cute little bugger.
