Brett was fed up with having a new brother. Hell, he was just annoyed completely with the fact that the new brother was older than him. He was also pissed at his mom for keeping him a secret. Was she ashamed of Xander? Or did she love him more for saving him from a childhood of hunting? "'Nother." Brett slid his empty shot glass to the bartender

Brett laughed deeply and nodded. "Or a surprise nine months later." He added, raising his eyebrows at her. "I hated prom. I hate the whole thing. I hate life too. Not, that I'm suicidal." He chuckled. "But, yeah."

"I didn't even go," Maya admitted, leaning her head on her hand and pursing her lips. "I went out and killed a demon with my brother and then picked up someone who was leaving the prom and took them home. Much more fun. My little brother is all about having a normal life but I think it's overrated."

"I have a sister that is more emo than the color black and I am pretty sure my brother is gay." He chuckled. "Not that being gay or emo is bad, just when you get them talking at the same time, its hilarious." He shook his head. "Okay, why are we talking about our loser families?"

"I figured if we knew a little about each other I might hate myself a little less tomorrow after we hook up in the bathroom," Maya said, downing her shot and grinning sunnily at him.

Brett grinned lecherously at her. He stood up, laying a twenty on the bar top. "Ladies first." He waved his hand in front of him.
