Time Warner is kinda god-awful. We've been having to use them for TV and Internet services since moving to the new house, and they just suck balls on every conceivable level. Verizon was way, way better.

I mean, for fuck's sake, BANNER ADS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE TELEVISION GUIDE. Banner ads at the bottom of the television guide that you have to CLICK OVER to get to the next listing. That is some buster-ass bullshit, right there.

I use them only for Internet, so I haven't seen the banner ads. Seriously, WTF? Like you're not already paying enough, so you have to get advertised at? Ick.

Until I finally got transferred to Mr. "I Know What I'm Doing and Have Some Sort of Authority to Make Changes," everyone I talked to transferred me within ten seconds of answering the phone, and then I'd have to sit through the message telling me that I could either arrange a call-back or go through three menus to decline arranging a call-back, all for an estimated wait time of two minutes. O technology.

I had to call Time Warner for something or other when I was living in Ohio. Being one of those people (I believe we are referred to as "idiots") who believes what she is told, I opted to arrange for a call-back. I moved out of that apartment about a year ago; I anticipate receiving the call-back at any moment (I sleep with my phone by my bed just in case).

The best part is that the call-back will be a pre-recorded message informing you that your call is important and requesting that you please continue to wait for the next available representative. And you'll get it next April at 3:00 in the morning.
