Well, the action is certainly picking up! As well as their interactions, even though it seems like they took a turn for the worst. Aw, Remus, he was just taking the piss! :D

following his quiet, sombre episodes were bouts of reckless and unbounded energy.

I love that part, which is such a concise description of Sirius.
