You're right, we should take stock of the supplies we have. It's getting too dangerous to go out, so we'll have to make do with that's in the pantries as far as sustenance goes. You've obviously found candles - we should also look for a flashlight, just in case.
[She gets up from the floor, straightening her sweater and brushing off unseen dirt from her jeans. Regarding Angela, she speaks up again.]
I'm more worried about this blackout than any elusive threat of a flood, at the moment. If we're out of power for longer than an hour, we have to empty at least the freezer so it doesn't thaw all over the kitchen floors.

For now, yes. Hopefully the power comes back on before we need to start emptying the freezer. We're probably good for a few hours, at least. We should check if the hallway is dark to determine if the entire building has lost power or just us. It could be just a blown fuse.
