Nightmares had driven Ada from her room early in the morning, nightmares that didn't feel right, weren't the normal ones that jerked her awake with her scream trapped in her throat. It was... something. In the back of her mind. Starting to scratch at the edges of memory.

One shoulder scratched up; for Dante's standards, that was fine. Especially since he got those demons back good. The ones back on the streets, the ones that kept following him right around, popping up every now and again? Whatever. He could handle them.

Didn't mean he wasn't walking sword-in-hand by the time he made it as far back as here, though. Down the street from the boardwalk, just close enough to spot a familiar face. Still not in Limbo, then, but still there were demons. That might spell trouble. Not for him, but for anyone else. "Ada!"

Fuck. Ada wasn't wearing any glitter to hide her scales yet. Long sleeves and pants helped, but they didn't hide everything.

"Go 'way, Dante!" she yelled back. "I ain't in the mood for no word-games today."
