The woman who ran the place didn't seem to mind, so long as Ada was up to her elbows in spare parts and was willing to listen to stories about the owner's pretty girlfriend. But now he was done for the day. Ready to go back-- to Moxxi's, to use what money he'd picked up fighting to buy a few cocktails. But that took him past Springs', which wouldn't have meant anything, but-- "Hey, I spot a mermaid on the horizon."

So she was wondering around town trying to find a place to find said parts. And, you know what, an "emporium of stuff" sounded like it might be a good candidate for that.
Then she spotted Ada, and decided she could shop later. "Hey! Ada!" she waved excitedly, a big grin on her face.
