It had been a late night, and a very early morning, and Ada was still fast asleep and blissfully unaware of anything that might be going on across the island.
That probably wouldn't last.
[OOC: Open for those with reasons to be there and SP since I'm at work for four more hours or so!]

Tiny fingers were prying at the doorknob, not content to knock. After a few moments, Janie got it open - and slunk inside.

It could have 'go away,' or 'come in' or anything in between. Ada wasn't actually awake enough to make that decision.

She clambered on top of the bed, immediatelly flopping over onto Ada's legs.

Ada reached down absently to pet his back-- except that...was a head? Of hair that didn't feel as long or thick as Hyacinthe's?
Confusion roused her the rest of the way into wakefulness and she propped herself up on an elbow to twist around and see who, exactly, had joined her in bed.
...oh.
"Janie-love, 's that you down there?"

Sure she could knock, but where was the fun in that?

They'd find Ada awake -- and dressed (now) -- sitting on her bed with another little girl snuggled into her. She glanced up at the door opening, clearly surprised to see company. "Oh, um, h'llo?"

Not that Gemma paused to explain that before flinging herself up on Ada's other side with a yelled greeting.

She went straight to her mama's room, since that was the closest, and walked in, to climb up on the bed. "Hi, mama."
Reply
"You know I ain't your mama yet, right" she checked. "So it's not me bein' forgetful but me not knowin' at all... who are you?"

Ada managed to keep the wince off her face and not flinch. At least crutches was more mobile than Janie's mother seemed to be.
"Ah, aren't you th' clever one, then," she said softly, draping an arm over Zia's shoulders. "Take pity on your not-yet-mama, an' tell me some stories about you."
If she was subtly looking for scales, or webs between her fingers, well, there was always the possibility that Zia, like Gemma, was a foundling that Ada just hadn't wanted to give up to someone else.

Whatever hopes Hyacinthe might have had about the morning were wrecked completely when he walked in and saw Ada in bed, but covered in children. "Uh...?"
The dromonde had not prepared him for an invasion of children and he was very glad he'd gotten fully dressed to make food in the common room, regardless of his previous intentions to shed them all again.
[If it's too late for me to tag into this, I understand!]

"I was wondering where you went off to, mure chavo," she said, looking slightly frazzled. "Anyone ever tell you what happens sometimes after prom?"
