Hey, you don't have to read this shit. 8)

1.
An old poem found me while I wasn't looking.
It just snuck up behind me and jumped into my brain without my permission.
It still sleeps there, and I hope it never goes away.

2.
For some, silence is innate.
For others, it makes then uneasy.
But it will come to those who wait.
Maybe shouting is better;
screaming our voices to tatters.

3.
Following the sound
of broken silences
seems to take forever.
Put your ear to the ground and
follow the bones;
they're less misleading.
Listen to the heart pound,
listen to the gaps of
noises between the quiet.
when you've found
the end of the world,
there'll be  the key
to the misconceptions that have you
bound.

4.
I think I may be obsessed with
the poetry of silence.  I constantly
search for its echoes in my mind.

5.
If I shove my fingers down my throat,
words spill out
all over the page.
The ink is black and blue,
like bruises
all over the page.
