I'm back in school. Yes, it was a very last-minute decision, but it's definitely the right decision. I can get a little bit of help from the Choctaw Nation (yay for being part native american!), but it's still a very scary struggle right now. I think it sounds like a wonderful idea. When I decided to go back to school, it was incredibly daunting, and when I received my acceptance, we not only didn't have jobs, but were also living with friends and only had a temporary home. I was really worried about money and whether it was a crazy idea, and then, the scholarships came through, and somehow we just made it work. And now, as I go back to set up my classroom this week for my second year of teaching, I'm so incredibly happy in this job that I know it was the right decision.

My point is, sometimes you have to take a leap for your own happiness. Do what you love - and I know you love animals so much - and it really does work itself out, in one way or another. I wish you luck and courage! And, if you need someone to edit those English papers, you have a ready and willing teacher who is just an email away. :)
