kerry pushed the questions into the future, while bush stayed in the past and continued to instill fear into the american people.

that is exactly what i was thinking! damn bush and his stupid, tired scare tactics!

despite the fact that kerry didn't always answer the questions, i think he did a very good job.
el presidente, whore-hay arbusto, kept getting frusterated, and that was fun to watch. :o)

It works, though. THe more frightened people are, the more likely they are to vote conservatively. So it's in Bush's best interests to scare people.

It's also in his best interest to push economic growth, never mind the cost. They're both things that lead to Republican wins.

*sigh* At least I can leave if things get really bad.
