The judges are only going to talk two at a time? Man, that sucks.
Allison: Paula made no sense at all, and I wasn't feeling Simon either. I totally didn't get her performance, but maybe that's 'cause I really am not all that into the song. Also, her outfits remind me of this blogger i know from Second Life and I think that's freaking me out.
Anoop: Excellent. I wish he'd done the growly thing that Tarantino suggested; it was dead sexy. Otherwise it was a solid performance , the arrangement was great and if I was 16 I'd be dialing already <3
Adam: QT has a total boycrush on Adam. Adam totally made Born to be Wild a club dance song and I ... didn't love the song 'cause it gave me a headache, I dun like the screamy musics, but still, he's a superstar in the making and last week's iTunes download of Mad World will make up for everything I disliked tonight. People are screaming for him and I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHY LOL. Also it makes me laugh that he can't not pelvic thrust at random points during his songs LOL. Points to Simon for pulling Rocky Horror out of his pocket and to Ryan for calling him on not actually saying if he liked it or not :D
HOW MUCH DO I LOVE THAT MY A-TEAM ALL WENT FIRST AND NOW I CAN COAST THROUGH THE REST OF THE SHOW.
P.S. PAULA YOU ARE MAKING NO SENSE TONIGHT.
Matt: I remember absolutely nothing about Don Juan DoMarco except a) it started my Johnny Depp post-Jump Street crush, and b) I had a vague feeling of uncomfortableness and c) I kinda dug this Bryan Adams song. Matt did OK on it, with a few bad notes here and there - Randy was right, he should have left the melody alone. Kara uses four words for each one that would suffice.
Danny: the harp was a nice touch. I was waiting the whole time for him to power up and butcher a beautiful, soft, tender song. He did it, but not as badly as I expected. He actually sounded pretty, maybe it was the simplicity of the arrangement that actually let him showcase his vocals without seeming like he had to shout over it. I get what Simon was saying but I disagree with him about the version needing to be original to be interesting, I appreciated Danny not fargling it all up.
Side note: they sure spent a lot of time BS'ing around for having worries about running out of time.
Kris: OMG I truly love that song, and have always loved that song, and despite a weak beginning Kris actually made me teary eyed. TEARY EYED. Hahaha, playing with the casino's money, excellent QT quote. Good job K-dogg.
As soon as they said Lil was singing The Rose, I turned off the TV. Did I miss anything? 'Cause I'm kinda doubting it.
