I have absolutely no problem with legalizing Marijuana...and I hate it. I'll never smoke it again, but it IS less harmful that alcohol..you never hear about high people getting into car wrecks, or high people beating their spouses, or high people dying of majiuana poisioning...because there's no such thing. There are, however, some factors that will become a problem if it becomes legal. Public use for instance. People can drink in restaurants, smoke cigarettes in public places, and some people will argue that they should be able to smoke weed in such places also. Then some people will bring up the facts that other recreational drugs, such as cocaine are less addictive than cigarettes and less harmful that binge drinking in college so that should be legalized...Floodgates will open. But, a positive of it becoming legal would mean people could freely grow their own...I know a lot of people that smoke weed and would grow their own but don't because its dangerous...so they could use the money they spend on it buying food...taking
