i've been raw in the past for a total of a little more than a year, about six months hollywood raw and the rest 80/10/10.
but right now...i mean, i should basically shoot myself. if that tells you anything. i'm going for 811 this time, because i feel better and don't have cooked food cravings on it.
what's hollywood raw? i've followed 811 and i think it's pretty good, but i prefer to eat more greens and i find it hard to consistently be as low as 10% fat - more like 20%.

hollywood raw is high-fat. like if you eat cafe gratitude or roxane's prepared raw stuff, it's ultra high fat and poorly combined (and all the rage in new york and LA), so you don't get smooth skin and you're likely to encounter digestive problems and an inability to maintain a healthy weight.
if you enter foodlies in fitday.com or another nutritional analyzer, a diet of just greens and fruit is closer to 90-5-5. the plan is to eat just greens and fruit for the most part, but eat some nuts and seeds a few times a month to balance it out. that's worked really exceptionally well for me in the past. first i get very very thin as my body phases out cooked food cells and replaces them with raw cells. i get a new layer of super strong muscle and i look and feel superhuman, fill out, and am not so stick-skinny anymore. my skin is amazing, soft, my hair looks good, i smell like a leaf, i don't get sick, and i'm so happy, optimistic, and full of energy that i don't even know what to do with myself.
