It's very cloudy and somewhat windy here today, which makes it a great time to just settle in with a book. I think that's exactly what I'll do once I get something to eat

If you love snow, you would love it up here. We've had so much snow this winter, it's been really ridiculous. :p
Oh man, I hear you on movie ticket prices. I think they're even more than that here, like in the $12-13 range, minimum. :( They do half-price days on Tuesdays at certain theaters, but otherwise, yeah, they're really expensive.
Hooray for Eric getting a raise! That's great. :) I'm glad you're liking your place enough to renew your lease for another year. Hopefully things beyond that will become clearer for you guys.
Hahaha, well then you probably would not like what we've got up here. It's stuck around for ages, and shows no sign of going away any time soon. It's pretty gross at this point, honestly. :-/
You know, the only time I've ever found it to be super crowded on a half price day was when we went to the first one after a big movie had come out. Otherwise, they're usually not so bad, because it's Tuesday, so a lot of people aren't really going out at night then.
Sounds like what we used to get up in North Dakota! Ugh, hate that time of snow that just.won't.leave!
Interesting! I figured it'd be busy even during the work week. Last year we went to free day at the zoo and since it was mid-week I thought it wouldn't be busy. Nope, it was SUPER packed. I was shocked.
WOW I AM SO BEHIND. Here you've been posting away at LJ and for some reason I thought LJ was a ghost town!! IT LIIIIVES!!! Oy I need to pay attention to life outside of the boy. >_< He needs to take care of his own entertainment sometimes, LOL

There's a movie theater in Arvada that has movies for $2.50 before 6 (?) and $3.50 after that time! I think it's called Elvis Cinemas. :D Movies are so expensive. :\ Eric is all into watching movies when they come out and I'm just shaking my head because a lot of movies just aren't worth the price! I wish we had dollar theaters nearby. The AMC by me has those seats as well! So comfy. :D
That sounds like a great Valentine's Day! I don't think we'll ever be the sort to go all out. :-)
I hope to! I wish I knew what was up with that. Alas, no one seems to know yet. I like the idea of being somewhere new but hate the thought of actually having to pack and stuff. :P
I should try to get him to do that! He's pretty touchy about the idea of his LJ being *gasp* PUBLIC, lol. He's not like me, I'll talk to friends/LJ friends/family about everything. He only tells me and his mother things. Silly boy. LJ might be good for him, if I could force him into it, ha. ;)
I think we have one of those here! I liked it because they also had tiny bags of popcorn instead of GIANT MASSIVE CHOKE A HORSE bags of popcorn. I'd rather see everything at the dollar theater, but that makes poor Jacob all antsy, he loves seeing movies.
Dooooo it. :D you can tell him all about filters and stuff! Maybe that'd make him feel more comfortable. :-)
I'm jealous! Lol out boys are similar in that way. I wish we could get them to be friends so they could go watch movies together. I'm all for waiting and Eric is all noooooo. Boys!

Those are insane prices! :o I imagine it gets super packed on half-price days. No thanks on the pricey movies. :\
Thanks! :D I hope they become clear soon. Alas, they probably won't and I have the patience of a gnat. Ah well. :)
