Save the date!

I know this sounds absolutely ridiculous, but my mother is insisting upon Adam and me sending out "Save the Date" cards for people we would like to invite to the wedding. I guess her fear is that many people will make plans for Memorial Day next year and no one would attend...I don't know if that's a good thing or not
