going to emily's wedding a couple weeks has made me simultaneously nostalgic and more forward-thinking.

a year ago yesterday was my first day of work at Generic Behemoth Law Firm.

i've come a long way, baby.

I got a check in the mail from the U of C for $50. There's no cover letter, and the memo line just says something like "rebate" or "reimbursement" or something. Which is funny, because I haven't given them money for anything in years.

Anyone know anything about this? Anyone else get it?
