So I recently finished reading On The Road by Jack Kerouac again. Let me just begin by saying that I love Kerouac. It seems to me that all of his writing is filled with such excitement, like there really is some huge, impending greatness out there that we have only to seek out and we will find it. I had On the Road on my shelf for over a year and finally read it this summer. I experienced the same things you did -- restlessness, and a general feeling of wanting go somewhere. I really didn't expect his writing to move me the way it did.

You should take more pictures, you seemed to be good at that.
It looked like you took pictures of things you enjoyed, and I know I enjoy looking at them.

So it seems win-win all around on that one.

I also love that book. It's inspiring, from a writer's standpoint. Did you know they're making a movie from that book? How is that even concievable?
