Photography is expensive as hell.

But it's going to be AWESOME.

It's a traditional film camera, I'm guessing?

Black and white film is far superior to color.

black and white is so overdone though. Every art student comes into my store with black and white, and it all looks the same. The corner of a brick building, an open window, someone looking away. Random things that don't even matter to them. I challenge them to take a good color photo. Because there is more science behind color photography.

Like this guy, http://jimloomis.deviantart.com/

I have to admit, sometimes black and white is enjoyable.

TMax film from kodak is what is expensive, and probably what you'll be using a lot of. $5.50 a pop man that's pretty high, plus it's not C-41 so you either have to hand develop it, or send it to an outlab.
