it does help... but get a partner so that the motivation is still there

I agree, find something new, or remember something old that excites you. Something to look forward to from starting a yoga class, going out drinking/dancing with buddies, or reading a damn good book.
Having something exciting to look forward to should help you to forget about your funk and push your life in a new direction.
When you're in school, though, it's got to be something little that won't cut into "school time." I usually do the good book thing.
If you don't want advice, than I offer empathy. Hope you feel better.
