So here we are in Cincinnati having a gay old time, well its not really gay at all. It's boringly straight and domestic, happily ever after, not-wedded bliss. Except we don't have any friends here. So during the last few weeks we drove to Ohio, found an apartment in Cincinnati, and bought a scooter. So far so good, the cat is still alive, though slightly mal-adjusted. When I was in school, graduating was my only goal. After that I planned to worry about the rest. It only took me a few months of figure out my career and financial goals. And I spend a lot of time working on those. I am really enjoying my life. But now I feel a great freedom and a great responsibility to not let all my free time fall to whimsy. ( Read more... )

It is weird trying to settle into domestic life which is both comforting and tedious. It has been hard for me to adjust from feeling like our relationship was a vacation from our everyday lives to feeling that our everyday lives are the center of our relationship.
