I just received 2 letters in the mail from Edfinancial Services postmarked July 23rd. The letters, written July 17th, state that Direct Loans will now be handled by them AS OF JULY 12th. The problem with this is that my Direct Loan payment is due on the 28th, and I sent out my check on the 23rd, and the bill was postmarked to me ON THE 12th! One

Whoa, I only just saw this comment now. LJ didn't email me about it when you left it what the fuck?!

Anyway, yes, I mail out my payments because the only other option is auto-paying, which I DO NOT feel comfortable with. Don't worry though, I called the new company when I received the next bill (which erroneously told me I missed my payment) and they told me that all will be fixed within 60 days and to just pay what I always do.
