It is a glorous fall day here in upstate NY, and the colours are just divine. It was clod enough last night to have a hard frost, and the grass was covered with it this morning. We were lovely here as well. No frost yet, but the nights are getting cool and the days are just perfect. This is so my favorite time of year.
So how do you make your butternut squash/pumpkin soup? Do you roast them off first? That's what we do.
