Pumpkin Fun

Nov 01, 2008 11:50

As most of you have probably already seen in vorpal's journal, we carved up some pumpkins yesterday. Not that we had a party or opened our doors to trick-or-treaters, but at least it got some creative energy going. (We didn't make it to any parties since we were both feeling a bit off - blech.)

Holy wow! These oughtta be in the Museum of Modern Art!
And all we had was a snaggle-toothed pumpkin which one of our little
munchkin trick-or-treaters started to walk off with last nite. :)

Flo loved them too. She said, "Gays can do everything!" Is that true?

Except be treated as equals, yes.

Oh, and I'm working on that "warp drive" thing.

Well, the last couple of pumpkins we didn't carve, but the others were certainly fun to do! Flo seems to be pretty talented herself, yanno!

Pretty good for feeling "a bit off." I couldn't be bothered to get the ones you just plug in out of the Hallowe'en decorations box. There's still a couple of decorations from last year on the hat stand which had to make do. Not that one could really see them, being under hats and scarves, but I just remembered that they are there.

Yeah, I seem to be unable to do many things but every once in a while I get this burst of energy that lets me complete a bigger task - yay!

Those are awesome! We didn't do the carving thing here since pumpkins run about $30 for a decent sized one.

Ouch! Yeah, that's a bit pricey. We were lucky in that Seb's parents grew a bunch this year, which is from where these came!

I haven't been very enthused about holidays, myself. You seem to keep yourself super busy, though ... maybe when you get to slow down a smidge you'll be able to enjoy them more? :D
