Grr. Your mom's advice put you in mortal danger. Every year, people are killed while standing or walking on the shoulder of highways. Both federal and state programs are in place to discourage people from leaving the safety of their vehicles, a bad idea even on a calm, sunny day.

i think it went allright.... i ohpe so. i was a bit stressed out at the time, but i should be alright. pthhhhhhhhhh. anyway it just further convinced me that YES............ cars ARE in fact SCARY.
