I wonder how many people with a JD actually use their degree and practice law...

And the Smithsonian rules...depending on which museum you're talking about, of course.

The guy who manages our lab (orders, maintenance, etc.) not only has a JD but also a masters in biology...not sure why he doesn't actually practice.

yeah, there are a lot of JDs that don't actually use their degree which is why I question whether or not there could be something more productive I could be doing with my time right now, don't get me wrong, who doesn't like to have a few extra letters after their names, but still....
