Paige was right, the lobby is rediculously hot, even with 3 fans blowing on me. People keep coming in and asking me if the A/C is broken, but I checked, and it's "on." I beg to differ, but hey, there's nothing I can do.

I've basically been passing my shift so far not by reading, which I should be doing, but by playing Solitaire and Kitten Cannon,

i hate it when people come into the bakery and go, "oh it's so hot in here, why don't you have ac?" and i'm like, we do have ac, and if you really want to feel something hot, come out back by the oven :-/ i hate people sometimes.

Same here, I can't tell you how many people came in today and said, "ooh, no A/C?" and I had to explain to them that it wasn't working in the lobby, but was working everywhere else in the building. And yes, I totally hate people sometimes, too. I think it's expected when your job requires you to interact with (sometimes very, very strange) people.

That's nothing guys. People ask me on the first tee at Bellevue why I don't turn on the AC. It is outside.

I believe my highest score of the day today was 1,450, and I got the cat to go 196 feet in the air. I was pretty pumped.
