Once upon a dark, dark time...

Last day in London and a day spent mostly wandering around the Covent Garden in irratic circles (I have no sense of direction), but all's good as I've bought a happyhappyhappysmile! superpanda pad and a Nick Drake CD from Rough Trade, which I swear was trying to recreate earthquake noises in its basement.  Mum's been wanting to go to Les Miserables ( Read more... )

I saw the Prestige, which was entirely mind boggling might I add, and thought it was really good. It was just so... surreal and weird, the twisted reality which exists beyond this facade of magical showmanship.

As for Pan's Labyrinth, I have been dying to see this for a while but its not showing at any of my local cinemas, nor can I find anyone willing to come and see it with me. =( And Perfume is another one I'd like to see, shall perhaps do so in the next couple of weeks - probably when my exams are out of the way.

Have fun at Les Mis, my friend saw it a couple of months ago and is still raving about how brilliant it is.

Perfume should still be on for a while...

I'm afraid I didn't really enjoy Les Mis, but there you go :P

I would text, but I have no credit, I hope you'll see this!!

And I read hardly any of this update because I SO badly want to see those films, I hate being spoiled :P
But NO!!! NO LES MISERABLES!!!!!

Ooh! Arrgh!! Um.. my train's at 2pm tomorrow from King's Cross... would it be convenient for you to find me at the station at about 1.30?

Les Mis was horrible. My eyes and ears bleed from boredom.

Brilliant, I will do that :D Any particular... landmarks?

Oh, and thankfuckforthat, because Vienna and Stevie tore my throat out for saying it was awful xD
It was a lot of marching and boring songs. There were some chavs in front of me when I went to see it, which made it all better.

Yeah, I spent most of the show following the actors' slipping toupes and joking with dad who started cursing quietly about Andrew Lloyd Wanker when mum wasn't listening.. :P

Um... the WHSmiths? Take your mobile and I'll give you a call if I can't find you.
And thankyoooooou!! *squishes*

You know, I haven't seen a film in the cinema for about a year. And I did want to go and see all of those. Oh well.

Coincidentally, I was listening to Les Mis today. I saw it for my 7th birthday (I think) and I kinda like it more each time I listen to it because I understand it more. Hope you'll enjoy it!

Les Mis wasn't really my kinda thing, I guess.

Perfume and Pan's should still be on for a while...

Ah, you must read the book of The Prestige. It's by Christopher Priest. I did like the film though.

Oh, and the fact that it had Batman, Wolverine and David Bowie in it.
