Hey, I don't think that's silly at all.
I love to shop junkstores, flea markets, goodwill shops, consignment shops, you name it.
I've found some fantastic treasures in these places!

One of my favorite things to do is to go to yard & garage sales and public sales.

I'm not one to go "shopping" for the sake of shopping and enjoy it. But give me a treasure-hunt ANYDAY!!!

There's another thing you don't see too much of in Hawaii--antique stores. Although there are several flea markets throughout the week. Not really the same.

Talk about antique shops - oh my!
Gettysburg is loaded with them (and the surrounding area)!!!

But they're always so expensive ... many times way more expensive than the true worth - even for an antique.
Public sales are the best for antiques!

Mind if I "friend" you?

I can imagine that the east coast is a treasure trove of antique shops!

I can imagine that yard/garage sales would be the way to go there - antique shops rarely charge a price that I would want to pay.

I'm always looking for a bargain.
