Socks
I'm writing my own sock pattern. I started off with a sock design that I liked, but I have had to alter all the stitch amounts and all the instructions that go with them. I'm very excited though, as I'm doing this all on my own. I'm also trying some color blocking, which I haven't done for this type of project in the past. It doesn't seem like a ( Read more... ) -
Biking
I'm so glad I bought a new watch. I have an Ironman watch now, mostly to help me track my time on my bike. I'm pleased to report that I rode both ways to school today, each under 20 minutes. I do adjust for traffic restrictions though. I need to find out how far the ride is so I can have a frame of reference. It also really helps that the weather ( Read more... ) -
Mixed blessings
My body hates me. It's single goal for today is to make me feel like crap. :( Since yesterday morning, I have been having some major stomach upsets. It seems to subside in the evening, though. I imagine it's all from stress, and that when I turn in these damned papers I will start to feel better ( Read more... ) -
