Okay, so I just recently became aware of the situation with smoking laws in Calabasas, CA. You're not permitted to smoke in Calabasas unless you're on your own property (preferably in your backyard) or in your own car. That's it. You can't smoke outside, you can't smoke in the wilderness, you can't smoke crossing the street

Oh no! I should have warned you about that law! I remember seeing a story about it on the news when it first went into effect. It's ridiculous. I don't know what the city of Calabasas is thinking. Maybe they think that smokers will make their picture-perfect city look "trashy." Ugh.
