So I'm in Leonard Maltin's class here at USC, Theatrical Film Symposium. Basically the class is Maltin ( the film critic for E! and various other television news shows) bringing in movies a week or so before they come out and letting us watch them, and after someone from the movie (usually the writers or director and sometimes an actor) comes in ( Read more... )

oh you can't come in unless you're enrolled in the class- they take your id at the beginning and are SUPER strict on it. it's annoying.

Certain of my coworkers are the sweetest people, but I have to turn on the Tenacious D music in my head when they start talking about how much they want to see this movie, and Bride Wars. I hadn't really encountered this "MUST GET HUSBAND" mentality in an actual person until this year but Lord is it depressing.

hahaha like, when we first started it I wished I was drunk, but then i realized that if i had been I would have thrown everything i could have gotten my hands on at the screen.

and the big black women were the funniest part. but still, there should have been more of them and less annoying whiny white people.
