“But they did it in that movie,” Jin wheedles, looking at his best friend imploringly.

“No no no no nonononono,” Yamapi backs away, shaking his head, holding up his hands and waving them slightly for emphasis.

“It would be - refreshing,” Jin says brightly, looking pleased with his choice of vocabulary.

“And weird!” Yamapi counters. “Skinny-dipping? Our…it’ll hang out and I don’t know, drag through the water. Not. Fun.”

“The cool water against your chest on a warm evening, no constrictions holding you back-“ Somehow, Jin makes it sound tempting and Yamapi curses inwardly.

“What if someone sees,” Yamapi pouts. “It’s not like this is our private hotel or something ( ... )

Haha, that's cute! (And nonsense, there's no such thing as a cop-out for the Pin drabble thing. Any use of the word works as long as there you write something!)

umm, okay~ this is my first time posting anything and english isn't my mother's language, so... yeah.

"Omg, I am drowning! Please save me, I'm too pretty to die so young!"
Jin's nose twitch. He looks at his best friend, currently drowning dramaticlly in the shallow water.
"But Pi! If I'll save you now, one day you'll get old and your skin'll get wrinkly and you won't have any hair!" Yamapi stop flailing at this, and instead he furrows his eyebrows.
"Are you saying I'm getting old and wrinkly?"
"Yes? …no?"
"PREPARE TO DIE NOW, AKANISHI." Jin chokes and runs around the pool, hitting Ryo in the process. Ryo drops his girly cocktail and glares at Jin, who shrieks, grabs Yamapi's hand and escapes a cocktail-stained-Sexy-Osaka-Man.

And as they run away, hand-in-hand, wet, and probably about to be slaughtered by an osakan midget, Jin realized that this is exactly why he came back.

Well, this and the fact Pi threatened to eat all of the yogurt.

I'm not sure this even works, but I wrote it with the theme in MIND. XP tinyangl May 22 2007, 13:46:07 UTC
He feels like he's drowning. Not in anything real (because that would be bad and Jin was sure that would mean death in some cases), but figuratively and emotionally. He felt like the whole concept was particularly poignant of him which he attributed to the fact that he was actually thinking more often than not nowadays. Either that or just him being broken to the point of exhaustion. He wasn't sure which idea he disliked more. Thinking or being tired. Then again, when he thought, he often became tired. So really, weren't they one in the same?

There's no escape for him anymore. Jin thought that work would be good. Extra work, even better. But the concept is foreign to him now. All it does is make him tired and become cranky and he hates being tired and cranky. He wants to rest now. But that has become even more foreign to him. There's just too much to do and not enough Jin to pass around (no matter what he tells the girls and it's not like they believe him anyway when he tries to suggest threesomes, but that's another story ( ... )
