How is this the most amazing thing ever? YOUR FIC MAKES ME PROUD TO SHIP PIN! It's just so good and a;sldkfjasdlfj, they fit together so well! Because Yamapi would be lonely and unhappy without Jin... WHICH IS WHY THE ENDING WAS SO HAPPY. : D

Reality "drabble"

This is so disjointed it's not even funny, but...oh well. I blame my brain for being a strange and confusing place. Also, ignore that bit of totally-not-Pin-related stuff that ninjaed in in the middle.

Yamapi dreams about Jin, standing back to back with him, singing. The rest of NEWS is around them (he can’t tell how many). He feels strangely light-headed, and he doesn’t know if it’s excitement at performing or something about Jin’s back against his, both of them singing with all their might, or if maybe something’s wrong with him, even in a dream. But even with his head spinning, he thinks that maybe this is how it should be.

Yamapi wakes up to voices, and he thinks he hears Jin, but Jin would never use words like “delirious”, so it must be someone else.

“Will he be all right?” the other voice asks, and he knows it’s his mother.

“As soon as the fever breaks,” not-Jin says. Yamapi wonders who they’re talking about.

* * * Yamapi dreams of performing again, but this time he’s with 4 Tops in a concert of their own

Yamapi’s pretty sure this isn’t real, but he doesn’t mind pretending for a bit. Sometimes, sad as that may be, dreams make more sense than the reality.

He can’t think of the name, but he knows that it’s real and it’s permanent (really permanent, not like NEWS, not like all the groups he’s been in that never lasted), and he’s happy because it’s Jin, after all, so how could he not be?
I liked how you worked in these little hints at Pi's career and what could have been.

Anyway, this was love! ♥

I love it. I love it so much. There is something about the way it's written, and of course you know I love your writing style, but this is different. I felt like I was dreaming too and the world was spinning around me. Yes, I love it.

When Yamapi looks in the mirror, all he can see are the imprints of Jin, Jin, Jin written all over him; under his skin and in his flesh, penciled in by Jin's inky eyes and the aching sharpness of want and loneliness.

He wonders if it's that obvious to people that he misses Jin like crazy.

(Yes, Ryo would say bitingly, but he wouldn't mean it because he misses Jin too)

Oh, I love this line. The imagery and the implications...

I seem to be quite attached to the idea of Jin leaving and the angst he leaves behind. Go figure.
I also am a little invested in the idea of Jin leaving, because his departure can serve as a catalyst for all sorts of things -- the realization of the space left behind, and the realization of so much more.

Anyway, this is lovely. :3

Well, I'm intrigued by the idea of Jin leaving behind angst too, so it's okay. This is really prettily written, and sad in a very...real-feeling sort of way, if you know what I mean.

Just seeing Jin in such close proximity made Yamapi hard immediately, and from the looks of Jin’s pants, Jin was the same

Pi showed up with only two buttons on his shirt done and kept doing his Daite Senorita moves, despite the fact that they weren’t rehearsing for it at all. Jin kept rolling his hips, even when he was using the urinals (two juniors quit then and there), and kept running over to Yamapi, seductively licking his lips, then running back to his (usually hysterically laughing) band members.

Day two was pretty much the same, except without quite the same fervor (Yamapi had to button up his shirt when he started sneezing, and Johnny told Jin that if he scared off any more juniors that he was going to be sent to learn “linguistics” in Zimbabwe for a year).

Most people had put this bet on Yamapi, because he now spent all his time sitting huddled in the corner of the NEWS dressing room, wouldn’t even touch his food, and burst out in tears when Tegoshi entered the room and gave Massu a friendly hug - which

ILANA SAID I SHOULD POST MY SUCKY FIC HERE ANYWAY, EVEN IF IT'S MOSTLY RYO/PI AND ONLY A LITTLE PIN. NOT MY FAULT AND DOESN'T EVEN REALLY RELATE TO ANY OF THE THEMES.

Jin's not the type to wait - Yamapi knows this. Jin's the type who eyes the first hot girl he sees (and what makes a girl hot to Jin isn't something Yamapi gets; that girl the other night wasn't hot at all but Jin had said something about her eyes and Yamapi had left it at that) and he'd make a beeline to her, smile, and that'll be it.

Jin is easy, after all (easy to catch, easy to pick up).

Yamapi's pickier. It's not because he wants to be - honestly, he didn't even notice he was doing it until Ryo pointed it out to him; but he goes for girls who laugh a certain way.

"And by that, you mean like Jin," Ryo says, rolling his eyes. "You're both so stupidYamapi half-shrugs and doesn't answer him; but from now on, he keeps track of it
