Ryo thinks that he's seen it all this week. Nothing can shock him anymore. Yamapi being straddled by some foreign girl (nice tits, Ryo thought, shame about the face), getting his arse out. Same old, same old. Ryo is proud of his own ability to accept the many crazy things that his life throws at him.
What he finds trickier is the things that his friends throw at him. The things that happen behind closed doors, behind the curtain, furtive and secret and just outside of his understanding. There's no training that can prepare you for that. Not in JE, and certainly not in life.
