Final Thoughts: Oh, Fay. He's such an interesting guy! I started reading Tsubasa when I was 14, and while my interest in the series has waxed and waned in the five years since then, Fay always stuck with me. He's such a great character, and it's so easy to fall in love with him. I know that a lot of people were/are really invested in him. I know that he's what kept me reading when I stopped understanding the plot, haha. (Don't worry though, I FINALLY took the time figure out what happened at the end. In a word: lameeee. Five years of my life for THAT bullshit ending? Pass.) I tried my best to make the mix really reflective of Fay's character, and I hope that when you listen to the mix you can feel him in each of the songs. The title of the mix comes from a quote by Vladimir Nabokov: "The pages are still blank, but there is the miraculous feeling of the words being there, written in invisible ink and clamoring to become visible." (As an aside, the track "Sing Me Spanish Techno" is a homage to fufuberrysoda's great Fay mix, In the Morning of the Magician. If you got a chance to download that, I'm sure you'll understand the gesture.)
On an unrelated note: How about that Holic cameo? I almost had a total fangirl meltdown, haha. My physical reaction was the embodiment of "alsdkdjfhasldkfjhaf!!!!". Please tell me other people enjoyed that as much as I did. Holic has been such a downer since Watanuki got that personality transplant, it was good to see some people who idk didn't want to drown themselves. And Kurogane smiling!!! laskjdhflasjkdfh okay I need to go think about something else now haha.
